The workshop was held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in the classrooms of 7th-grade male and female students of SMP IT Masjid Syuhada Yogyakarta, with sessions conducted separately.

The activity began with an introduction by Prof. Dr. Siti Irene Astuti Dwiningrum, M.Si., who emphasized the importance of strengthening online resilience. She explained that resilience is essential for both teachers and students. For teachers, resilience serves as a foundation for delivering instructional materials effectively, while for students, it helps develop perseverance and readiness in their learning process. In her presentation, she used the instructional book Panduan Perlawanan Sinta, which includes game cards presenting challenges faced by Sinta, a high school student accused of committing an act of violence. Students were encouraged to help uncover the truth and resolve the situation as part of strengthening their online resilience.

Strengthening resilience is expected to help address literacy challenges among students of SMP IT Masjid Syuhada Yogyakarta and better prepare them to face academic challenges and ongoing developments in education. Innovative learning approaches that incorporate games as instructional media can contribute to strengthening literacy and numeracy resilience. Indonesia’s cultural diversity also serves as an important resource for teachers in designing engaging and meaningful learning experiences that enhance students’ online resilience. Through this workshop, teachers are expected to develop greater awareness of the importance of applying diverse instructional approaches to strengthen online resilience, resulting in more creative and effective classroom learning.
