Online Resilience Initiative for Junior High School Teachers across Yogyakarta

Sleman, 2024 – The Directorate of Research and Community Service of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta conducted an Online Resilience Initiative workshop through the Matching Fund Program under the Community Problem-Solving scheme, led by Prof. Dr. Siti Irene Astuti Dwiningrum, M.Si., with team members Dr. Ariefa Efianingrum, M.Si., Dr. Pratiwi Wahyu Widiarti, and Muslikhin, Ph.D. The activity was held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Abdullah Sigit Hall, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Education and Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
The Online Resilience Initiative aimed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to address educational challenges in the digital era. This initiative emphasized the use of digital media to support junior high school teachers across Yogyakarta in remaining adaptive and innovative amid technological changes and the demands of online learning.
The program included a series of online training sessions specifically designed for junior high school teachers across Yogyakarta. These sessions covered strengthening digital competencies, effective online teaching strategies, as well as stress management and mental health support in virtual learning environments. Prof. Dr. Siti Irene Astuti Dwiningrum, M.Si., emphasized the importance of ensuring that teachers receive the support needed to remain resilient and productive in the evolving landscape of online education.
